Dermal Fillers
Why Dermal Fillers?
Dermal fillers and volume-building injections fill static wrinkles and compensate for the loss of volume over time. Injectable dermal fillers may plump thin lips, enhance shallow contours, soften facial creases, remove wrinkles, and improve the appearance of scars.
Dermal fillers may be helpful for those with early signs of aging, or as a value-added part of facial rejuvenation surgery.
What Can Dermal Fillers Do?

- Enhance shallow contours
- Soften facial creases and wrinkles
- Improve appearance of recessed scars

Why Does Juvederm® Work?
The main ingredient in Juvederm® injectable fillers is hyaluronic acid, or HA, which is naturally found in our bodies that can hold up to a 1000 times its weight in water. Targeting specific areas of the face with Juvederm® treatments, which are made with modified hyaluronic acid, will add volume to those areas. For instance, we can make lips appear fuller & balance the face by adding volume to areas that may need it.
Juvederm® FAQ
As you get older, your skin loses HA resulting in facial wrinkles & folds, like those lines around your mouth. Juvederm combats that by filling those lines & creating a youthful appearance. Not only that, Juvederm enhances the lips by improving definition of lip lines or adding volume.

Once the topical anesthetic is applied, we allow 30 minutes for the topical to take effect. Depending on the number of areas to be treated, the injection time may vary from 15 minutes to 30 minutes or more. Touch-up injections as well as repeat injections maintain optimal results. However, less gel is usually needed for repeat injections.
