How Does Thermismooth ® Work?

Thermismooth ® is a painless & non-invasive procedure that gently targets the areas under your skin using controlled radio frequency energy. It heats the deeper layers of your skin & encourages the production of collagen, the structures that support & firm skin. Thermismooth ® effectively treats sagging skin, cellulite, and wrinkles. It uses radio-frequency energy to heat the skin and stimulate production of new collagen. The treatment is pain-free and uses built-in temperature controls for optimized heating of deeper layers without burning the surface of the skin.

ThermiSmooth® Face can treat problem areas such as forehead “worry lines,” sagging eyelids, “parenthesis” lines or nasolabial folds around the mouth, crow’s feet and sagging jowls. It can also help firm crepey skin on the face or neck.


Most patients see some benefits from Thermismooth® Face after the first treatment. Typically three procedures are necessary to achieve optimal results. Collagen production takes time, so you’ll look younger with natural results. It may take three to six months to see the full effects of facial treatments.

ThermiSmooth® FAQ

During the treatment you should feel warmth and heat. There may be temporary slight discomfort, but make sure to provide ongoing feedback so we can make any adjustments needed. 

Remove jewelry, make-up, and lotion prior to treatment. Stay hydrated!

Patients who are currently pregnant, have cardiac devices such as a pacemaker or defibrillator, mechanical valves, electrical device or cochlear implants should not have the treatment. The treatment is also not done over an active skin condition. Patients who are breast feeding are okay to be treated.

We recommend 3-6 treatments per area. Treatments should be spaced between one and three weeks apart.

The skin may appear pink in the treated area and you may experience mild swelling & redness. This typically subsides within 2-24 hours. You may resume normal activity immediately after the treatment is complete

It generally last 9-12 months, but results may vary.
